Henk Bosch is a seasoned chemical engineer and an authority in sustainability and Life Cycle Assessment (LCA). With decades of experience, he has been at the forefront of advancing LCA methodologies and sustainability practices. As the first competence leader for LCA at Royal DSM NV, Henk spearheaded the development of LCA frameworks, collaborated on external projects, and executed diverse LCA initiatives across industries.
From 2011 to 2015, he chaired the Dutch LCA Knowledge Platform, driving efforts in standardization and professional advancement. His expertise spans chemicals, agriculture, and climate change abatement, bolstered by his role as Sustainability Manager for DSM Nutritional Products, where he expanded his work into personal care and animal nutrition.
In 2020, Henk founded Bosch Sustainability Consultant, providing independent consultancy in LCA and sustainability. He has co-authored numerous key publications, including the WBCSD Guideline for LCA of Chemical Products, and contributed to impactful studies on feed additives, sugar production, and sustainable aquafarming.
